Bookish Tuesday, Diary of a Bookseller

Summer Reading Favorites

I’ve been conspicuously absent I fear. I’ve read so few books in the past six months I am ashamed to call myself a bookseller. I am, however, very much a hobby person and every few years a new hobby takes over my life and eats up all my time and right now I’m baking a few times a week instead of reading like I should be. I haven’t even been listening to audiobooks lately and have been listening to more podcasts and YouTube videos. But it’s summer which means it’s time to share the eight books I have selected as summer reading recommendations at the store!

Ink & Sigil by Kevin Hearne

We Ride Upon Sticks by Quan Barry

Summer at Little Beach Street Bakery by Jenny Colgan

Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty

House of Trelawney by Hannah Rothschild

Bone in the Throat by Anthony Bourdain

Range by David Epstein

Embrace Your Weird by Felicia Day
